Retreat Policies

Effective January 1, 2011

* A one-night’s non-refundable deposit of $39 for Thursday, Friday, Saturday or $35.00 for Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and  Wednesday is required to secure a reservation.

* If you are unable to keep your reservation, although the deposit is non-refundable, another paying customer could take your place.

* Reservations can be secured with Credit Card information or by check.

* Beds are only reserved with a deposit for each person.

* Group reservations will be accepted only if one credit card or lump sum deposit reserves for the whole group or each individual person in the group calls in with the deposit information.

* Check in at front counter upon arrival for room and work area assignments.

*Check in time is 3:00 pm. Early check in is $5.00 and based on available space.

*Check out time is 1:00 pm.

* Fresh towels provided upon check-in and collected upon departure.

* Minimum of two people per group.

* Maximum of 36 people per group.

* Kitchen is equipped and provisioned, but any dishes used must be washed and put away by the “retreat-ers,” and the kitchen area must be kept neat and tidy. If dishes are left unwashed, group will be charged $35.00 per hour required for clean-up.

* Meals are not provided, but may be arranged with area caterers, restaurants that deliver, or procured at any number of local eateries. (Lists will be provided in each room and upon request.)

* No maid or room service available.

* Drop key cards and room keys in deposit box inside foyer by entry door before leaving or return to front counter.

* Quilt shop hours are 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, and 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Saturday. Sunday 12:00 to 4:00 p.m. All purchases can be made during those hours. Quilters staying overnight at “Threads and Beds” may run a tab for the duration of their stay.

* All running tabs must be paid before departure, and all weekend retreat tabs must be paid before 4:00 p.m. on Sunday.

* No emergency sewing machine repairs available after hours.

* Shopping at Threads of Time will occur only during regular business hours, unless previously arranged.

* Unless the retreat is a special event planned and promoted by Threads of Time, each individual group is responsible for the content and planning of its own retreat.

* No smoking on the property and absolutely no pets.

* No children under the age of ten.
